Make an impact at Serco

As a Clinical Quality & Compliance coordinator on the health services team at Acacia Correctional Centre youll make a positive impact by providing advice assistance and support in all matters relating to clinical risk clinical governance incident and complaints management and quality healthcare in line with accreditation standards and policy requirements.

As a Clinical Quality & Compliance coordinator in the Health Services team youll make a positive impact by:

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry and accreditation standards
  • Develop and maintain the Quality Plan in line with Justice Health requirements
  • Promote and embed a culture of continuous quality improvement
  • Support the Health Services Manager and medical team in demonstrating clinical effectiveness
  • Drive high clinical standards and positive patient outcomes
  • Promote Acacia Prison as a Health Centre of Excellence
  • Support staff education and ongoing professional development

To be successful in this role youll have:

  • Senior registered/Clinical Nurse Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Total Quality Management systems quality assurance and/or experience with a similar capacity
  • Experience in auditing clinical quality improvement governance and accreditation frameworks such as RACGP or the NSQHS
  • Proven ability to analyse and synthesize data and use it to drive improvement through theproduction of presentations reports and submissions
  • Demonstrated high level skills in planning and organisation time management critical thinking problem solving and decisionmaking
