Job Description

  • Permanent Part time role (45.6 hours per fortnight)
  • Located at St Kilda

Your new role

Were looking for an inspiring and experienced leader to take on a key role in guiding nonclinical mental health support services led by individuals in designated lived and living experience roles. This position plays a vital part in fostering recoveryoriented support through peerled approaches.

As Team Leader youll manage program delivery provide strategic leadership and support the continued development of our lived and living experience workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring delivery of program outcomes in line with funding requirements
  • Leading and promoting quality personcentered practice across the team
  • Providing leadership to support the longterm vision sustainability and expansion of services
  • Working closely with the Training & Capacity Building Team Leader to support the delivery of Hearing Voices training

Your skills and experience
  • We are looking for motivated selfstarter who like using their initiative and feel confident to work in a new team and work environment.
  • You will also have:
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant health or human services field (minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health or Peer Work)
  • Lived or living experience of mental health recovery including the ability to lead and support others from a peer perspective
  • Strong understanding of complex mental health and AOD challenges and the needs of those experiencing them
  • Experience in program or project management within the community or mental health sector
  • Proven leadership in supporting and developing a peer workforce
