Help us help others:

The Receptionist supports counselors physicians staff and individuals in the Comal County Mental Health Center Clinic. This person will work with the Office Coordinator to cover inperson customer services of the reception area and all telephone traffic including receiving and routing phone calls and messages appropriately. The Receptionist will also coordinate meetings collect payments initiate paperwork and complete administrative duties to keep the office running smoothly. This compassionate caring and supportive team member will connect with the HHMHDD staff and individuals to provide optimum healthcare and contribute to the overall wellbeing of members of the community living with mental health challenges.

You will get to:

  • Maintain a physical presence at reception and provide customer service for all incoming individuals and phone traffic for the office.
  • Maintain data in the electronic medical records and initiate appropriate consumer paperwork.
  • Route incoming and outgoing correspondence and perform daily data entry.
  • Set up teleconferencing meetings and manage team schedules.
  • Complete reports as assigned.
  • Write and document articulately while using correct grammar so that documentation is clear and valuable.
  • Maintain compliance with all client data security control measures.
  • Educate and instruct individuals served.

Qualifications

Youll definitely need:

  • High school diploma GED or competency test with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • To complete and maintain both CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training.
  • To maintain a valid Texas State Drivers License.
  • To have current automobile insurance and the ability to travel to individuals when necessary

Well also want you to:

  • Employ excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with team and individuals in care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Sustain a calm demeanor when under pressure to handle sometimes difficult situations.
  • Provide exemplary customer service and care to individuals with their best interest at heart.
  • Complete and maintain both CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training.
