Caregiver (CNA, HHA, PCA)

Cornerstone Assisted Living is hiring for FullTime andPartTimeCaregivers (CNAs HHAs and PCAs)to join our team. In this role you will provide cares and pass medications to our residents. There are FullTime andPartTimebenefit eligible positions working a varied schedule including every other weekend.

FullTime Shifts: Evenings (2pm to 10pm)
PartTime Shifts: Evenings (2pm to 10pm) and Days (6am to 2pm)
Every Other Weekend PartTime Shifts: Days (6am to 2pm) and Nights (10pm to 6am)

Pay:$17.60 $20.60 / depending on experience

What does a Caregiver do

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature blood pressure weight pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude reaction and appetite to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair assist with showering/ bathing fingernail and foot care and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

What does a Caregiver require

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience preferred but not required.
• Med Passing experience strongly preferred but not required
• Apassion for geriatric care.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.
