The Groundskeeper/Porter is responsible for efficiently maintaining the physical appearance of the apartment communitys grounds pools and buildings.
What Youll Do
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of grounds and common areas.
- Aware of the condition of the property at all times and take immediate steps to correct unsafe and unclean conditions.
- Maintain pool pool areas and pool furniture.
- Participate in an ongoing community improvement plan and a preventive maintenance program.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Community and Service Manager.
What You Need to Succeed
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 years of property maintenance experience preferred.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents visitors contractors and fellow employees.
- Communicate clearly to residents and respond to residents service requests and concerns in a timely professional manner.
- Can use power and hand tools effectively and safely when completing maintenance tasks.
- Must have time management skills to successfully navigate frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
- Work independently with minimal supervision be accountable for actions selfmotivated.
- Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
- Possession of a valid drivers license and uptodate vehicle insurance OR reliable transportation is required.
