Job Description
AsSr. Software Engineer II youll support operational sustainment and maintenance of the government customers fielded capabilities to include software models algorithms interfaces integrations Kubernetes environments host software database management test security patching and M&S DevSecOps Platform.

What youll do:
- Design and architect model behaviors to represent operationally relevant capabilities in AFSIM or other M&S frameworks.
- Conduct analysis to develop and assess requirements and collect data to address modern weapon system capabilities evolving TTPs and new and changing JFACC training requirements such as on demand exercise capabilities space weather cyber logistics etc.
- Develop and integrate toward one common AF M&S suite of software within the M&S Platform as directed by the SPO
What youll need to succeed:
- Must have an active DoD SECRET Clearance.
- You have 7 years of experience in software development using languages and systems such as C and Python with a focus on simulation frameworks like AFSIM.
- You are skilled in building and integrating web services database systems and web application development.
- You have experience working with cloudbased services (e.g. Amazon Web Services Microsoft Azure) and/or RESTful architectures.
SALARY RANGE: $120000 $191000
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications skills and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidates professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar which may include:
- Performancebased bonuses
- Companypaid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
