Your Opportunity
As a key leadership position within the Integrated Homelessness Supported Accommodation Program (IHSAP) the Team Coordinator role is crucial to delivering responsive and compassionate services for individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of rough sleeping in Darwin. This includes supporting visitors with no stable accommodation and longterm residents facing chronic homelessness. This is an onsite position and working closely with the Program Manager the Team Coordinator provides frontline leadership guidance to staff and strategic support to ensure the delivery of highquality personcentred services. The role contributes to the ongoing development of Mission Australias programs aligning service delivery with both contract requirements and community needs while upholding the organisations core values and mission.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the Program Manager to lead motivate and coach team members nuturing a highperforming collaborative and clientfocused team environment.
- Work directly with clients to develop and implement care plans tailored to their individual needs ensuring positive and sustainable outcomes.
- Undertake comprehensive intake and assessment processes including the completion of service application forms and required documentation.
- Guide and support staff in inducting clients into the service covering expectations financial arrangements property details and available facilities.
- Represent the service at housing and homelessness sector meetings building and maintaining partnerships with relevant community organisations.
- Ensure accurate timely and professional recordkeeping including maintaining uptodate client case files and service compliance documentation.
- Mentor and support team members through regular feedback coaching and professional development enhancing staff capabilities and service quality.
Requirementsfor Success
- Relevant degree or associate diploma in social work community services or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations including individuals and families experiencing homelessness and complex needs.
- Proven ability to supervise staff support their professional development and coordinate team activities in line with service standards.
- Strong background in case management including intake risk assessment safety planning and advocacy for clients facing multifaceted challenges.
- Highlevel communication administrative and computer skills with the ability to manage accurate records and support complex service operations.
- Demonstrated capacity to build effective internal and external relationships including networking within the community sector.
- Advanced problemsolving time management and decisionmaking skills with the ability to navigate competing priorities in a dynamic service environment.
- Full driver licence with no restrictions is required.
