Position: Senior Manager RE Projects (Solar & Wind)
Location: Corporate Office Hyderabad
Experience Required: 510 years
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical or Renewable Energy preferred)
Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager Renewable Energy Projects to lead and oversee the endtoend of solar and wind energy projects. This role demands a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of project management procurement regulatory compliance and business development in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and commissioning of utilityscale solar and wind projects across multiple locations.
- Oversee daytoday project operations ensuring adherence to timelines budgets quality standards and safety protocols.
- Develop procurement strategies and manage the entire supply chain processfrom vendor selection and negotiation to logistics and delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks permits and statutory requirements at both central and state levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors technology providers consultants and government agencies.
- Provide technical and commercial inputs to support project feasibility assessments and business development proposals.
- Lead crossfunctional project teams and supervise onground engineering teams for smooth project .
- Prepare and present highlevel project reports risk assessments and performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively ensuring minimal disruption to timelines or budgets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical or related discipline).
- 510 years of proven experience in managing solar and wind energy projects including procurement implementation and O&M.
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies grid integration and site management practices.
- Familiarity with power trading mechanisms PPA structures and regulatory developments in the Indian RE sector.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders and crossfunctional teams.
- Strong negotiation communication and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project Primavera SAP).
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
