Job Overview
The Sr Manager Cloud Hardware leads a team responsible for developing deploying and optimizing cloud hardware infrastructure that supports computer networking and storage systems at TMobile. This role provides strategic leadership guiding engineering teams in executing cloudhardware integration performance optimization and automation initiatives. The Sr Manager partners with crossfunctional teams and vendors to ensure scalability costeffectiveness and security of hardware solutions. Drives technical innovation fosters team development and aligns cloudhardware strategy with business goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of cloud hardware engineers and managers ensuring technical excellence and career growth.
  • Oversee the design deployment and optimization of cloud hardware infrastructure ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to align hardware solutions with TMobiles cloud strategy.
  • Ensure hardware efficiency troubleshoot complex issues and drive costsaving initiatives.
  • Enforce hardware security standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Lead automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cloud hardware operations.


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (Required)
  • Masters/Advanced Degree Masters in a relevant field (Preferred)
  • 710 years Experience in cloud hardware engineering infrastructure leadership or related technical fields. Required
  • 24 years People management experience leading technical engineering teams. Required
  • 710 years Handson experience with server hardware components including processors storage PCBAs power systems and networking equipment. Required
  • 710 years Broader leadership experience in cloud environments automation or vendor collaboration. Preferred


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management Experience leading engineering teams coaching and fostering talent growth. (Required)
  • Cloud & Hardware Infrastructure Strong understanding of cloud and hardware systems including computer networking and storage. (Required)
  • Hardware & Software Integration Proven ability to optimize cloud hardware with software platforms for maximum efficiency. (Required)
  • Strategic Planning & Vendor Management Experience in working with vendors and crossfunctional teams to develop cloud hardware solutions. (Required)
  • Security & Compliance Expertise in hardware security compliance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies. (Required)
  • Process Improvement & Automation Leads automation initiatives for cloud hardware deployment monitoring and lifecycle management. (Required)

    Base Pay Range: $162400 $293000

    Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

    At TMobile employees in regular nontemporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
