Job Title:Industrial Control Technician II
Pay:$33 $36 per hour
Shift: Sunday Thursday 6:00 PM 2:30 AM (or until work is complete)
Location: Orlando Florida
Assignment Length: Based on performance
Labor Type: Industrial
Hours Per Day: Up to 12
Training: Initial training on day shift for the first 5 weeks before transitioning to night shift
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and driven Industrial Control Tech II to join our operations team. This role is critical to the performance and maintenance of our automated picking systems and materials handling equipment. If you have strong electrical PLC and diagnostic skills and are comfortable working nights this could be the right opportunity for you.
What Youll Be Doing
- Execute preventative maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and automation systems
- Diagnose and resolve MHE and automated system errors
- Lead system upgrades and modifications
- Maintain detailed records using CMMS/EAM software
- Support operational productivity by ensuring equipment efficiency
- Manage inventory of spare parts and troubleshoot componentlevel electrical issues
- Support critical infrastructure like chillers boilers HVAC and BAS systems
- Participate in an oncall rotation and work extended hours when needed
- Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with other departments
Qualifications & Experience Required
- 2 years of industrial controls experience
- Strong electrical background; handson with PLC systems motors sensors and drives
- Ability to read CAD layouts wiring schematics and ladder logic
- Skilled in diagnosing issues down to the component level (capacitors transistors diodes etc.)
- Knowledge of network communication protocols (e.g. PROFIBUS PROFINET CANBUS ASI)
- Familiarity with chiller systems cooling towers HVAC and BAS systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industrial software (e.g. RSLogix FlexSort IPoint)
- Excellent communication organization and troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training strongly preferred
