Job Description
We Deliver the Goods:
Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the countrys food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition but they are the face of our company building lasting relationships with our customers! As a Yard Driver NonCDL you will play a vital role in the operation of our business by transporting tractor trailers on Operating Company property including loading docks and designated parking areas and to offsite maintenance or inspection facilities.
The Yard Driver NonCDL is responsible for moving tractor trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers vendors and coworkers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization as required and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
6 months driving experience Internal candidates may be promoted with less than 6 months experience with good performance record in accordance with driver training program requirements.
Must be able to work the scheduled assigned times and required overtime for the position.
Valid noncommercial drivers license
Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Pass road test
Able to handlift and utilize twowheeler lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 1035 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds depending on the location
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
1 years Foodservice distribution industry experience
Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e. PeopleNet)

- Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safedriving policies.
- Fuels moves and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
- Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.
- Secures trucks trailers and equipment always. Completes all required documentation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
