Overview:
A leading national provider of healthcare support services is seeking a seasoned Director of Clinical Engineering to oversee biomedical operations at a major healthcare system in Zanesville Ohio. This leadership role is ideal for a senior HTM professional with strong operational regulatory and strategic experience who thrives in a handson peoplefirst environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of the Clinical Engineering program ensuring effective medical equipment management and service delivery.
Direct and mentor a team of supervisors and biomedical technicians promoting professional development and performance excellence.
Drive process improvements that enhance regulatory compliance service efficiency and patient safety.
Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical stakeholders to align biomedical services with organizational goals.
Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations including CIHQ DNV and Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards.
Oversee capital planning vendor negotiations contract management and budget adherence.
Represent HTM services in executive meetings strategy sessions and crossfunctional initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Biomedical Engineering Clinical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing biomedical services within a large healthcare system.
Demonstrated experience working directly with hospital executives or Csuite leadership to align HTM strategies with organizational priorities.
Strong working knowledge of CIHQ DNV and Joint Commission (JCAHO) compliance standards.
Proven track record of leading highperforming clinical engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CBET or CHTM.
Experience managing multisite healthcare technology programs.
Expertise in capital planning project management and equipment lifecycle strategies.
