Job Description
Summary:
The Housekeeper will clean sanitize and maintain areas by providing daily cleaning services for persons living in the Rectory
Position Responsibilities:
- Cleaning to include but not limited to dusting sweeping mopping waxing and vacuuming offices rectory
- Develops and adheres to cleaning schedule (i.e. Rectory and Office)
- Communicates effectively with management to address issues or problem areas.
- Communicates and collaborates effectively with staff/faculty to address cleaning needs/requests.
- Stocking/Replacing of cleaning supplies where refilling is needed (i.e. bathrooms meeting spaces).
- Sanitizing/disinfecting frequently used areas around campus buildings (i.e. doors tables).
- Disposing of waste in buildings to designated area for pick up.
- Organizing cleaning closets/carts for use.
- Notifies maintenance/facilities department of needed maintenance or repairs.
- Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self others.
- Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information services rendered to clients donors names and gifts internal and external investigations or results of any investigations and financial information.
- Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral is mandatory.
- Every employee is required to take a solutionoriented approach in their interactions and undertakings as well as being a team member that promotes collaboration and commitment to the Mission and Vision of the organization.
- Cooks Meals for Priests 4 days a week
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education
- Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about jobrelated needs.
- Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in cleaning including dusting mopping sweeping and vacuuming.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
- Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals/supplies and equipment use.
- Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
- Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents tenants and/or guests.
- Good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward staff and visitors to the property.
- Experience with computer software and Microsoft Office Applications.
- A solid grasp of cleaning and organizing.
- Must be detail oriented organized selfmotivated work well independently and on a team.
- Must have good written and verbal skills.
- Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Most be able to plan and cook meals
