Provide direct instruction for students.
Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences and learning styles.
Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies activities and materials and equipment that reflect understanding of learning styles and needs of students assigned.
Manage student behavior to achieve an effective learning environment and in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to determine instructional goals objectives and methods according to district requirements.
Provide timely and appropriate plans for substitutes as necessary.
Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning through formal and informal testing.
Persistent belief in the potential for all students to succeed academically with an assetbased mindset
Ability to communicate respectfully and in a culturally proficient manner with parents/guardians about student progress and language acquisition
