Job Description
- Supervision of Cleaning Staff:
- Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with company protocols.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members providing clear instructions and guidance.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaning services to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and address any deficiencies in service delivery implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections issues identified and followup actions taken.
- Training and Development:
- Train new and existing staff on cleaning techniques safety procedures and company policies.
- Provide ongoing training to ensure staff are up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
- Mentor team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment ensuring that all necessary items are available when needed.
- Order supplies and manage equipment maintenance to prevent disruptions in service.
- Keep accurate records of inventory usage and expenditures.
- Customer Interaction and Feedback:
- Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or complaints.
- Handle client feedback in a professional and proactive manner ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Account Manager to implement service improvements based on client feedback.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the janitorial or facilities management industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining highquality standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and staff.
- Ability to manage inventory and equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and cleaning techniques.
