Inviting applications for the role of Consultant Senior Linux Administrator
We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage and maintain Linuxbased systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in troubleshooting virtualization and automation along with a proven track record of optimizing system performance.
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Linux servers and workstations across multiple environments.
Troubleshoot complex system and network issues efficiently.
Manage virtualization platforms like VMware KVM or HyperV.
Automate processes using advanced scripting (Bash Python Perl).
Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios Prometheus or Grafana.
Implement security measures and conduct regular audits.
Perform system backups recovery and migrations.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless operations.
Document system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications / Skills
Bachelors degree in business computer science or STEM Majors (Science Technology Engineering and Math) or equivalent.
Expertise in Linux distributions (e.g. Ubuntu CentOS Red Hat).
Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in network protocols and firewall configurations.
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
Preferred qualifications / Skills
Proven experience working in a role involving
RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) or LFCE (Linux Foundation Certified Engineer).
Experience in Devops Tools like Jenkins Kubernetes VMWare would be an added advantage
