Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant SRE Engineer
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability scalability and performance of our production systems and infrastructure. Youll work closely with development teams to design and implement scalable and resilient services automate operations and respond to incidents effectively.
Responsibilities
Continue to develop central guidance and where applicable central solutions to assist our customers to adopt Ops transformation covering automation resiliency and observability
Collaboratively work with various stakeholders in the evaluation and implementation of emerging Group standard tooling
Drive the integration and extensibility of Group standard tools as it pertains to infrastructure automation.
Provide consulting support to IT teams across the group on DevOps Infrastructure Automation and SRE.
Work closely with the engineering teams for identifying infrastructure automation resiliency & observability and enable corrective decisions for improvements.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Sound knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering / Chaos Engineering is a must.
Handson experience in DevOps Unix/Linux Ansible Terraform Cloud (GCP AWS) Infrastructure automation
Have a detailed knowledge of cloud infrastructure provisioning deployment automation orchestration logging and monitoring tools (Appdynamics Splunk Prometheus)
Proven experience using programming languages Python PowerShell Bash Shell Script development.
Handson experience in using Continuous Integration pipeline using Jenkins Maven and other CI tools used in DevOps ecosystem
Experience of containerization ideally using Docker / Kubernetes.
Strong understanding and exposure to the Cloud technologies and cloud service provider GCP AWS
Experience with Agile Software development methodologies and associated lifecycle tools JIRA etc.
Drive to improve and enhance existing strategies processes tools and techniques
Has solid understanding of Agile (Scrum) Git
Experienced in managing delivery in a globally spread matrix managed organization (or team) using Agile methodologies.
Ability to work directly with business stakeholders understanding needs and articulating ideas
Interpersonal skills including the ability to articulate the case for investments and alternatives in the language of business
Candidate should have good communication presentation skills & project management skills
