Senior Project Manager / IT Change Specialist

Staines hybrid working

Permanent

Full time 37.5 hours per week

The Senior IT Change Specialist will manage the delivery of large complex technology projects within a regulated environment ensuring they meet time cost and quality standards. Work across Bupa Global and Bupa UK on highpriority changes with significant risks and interdependencies. Define and drive assigned programs/projects managing specialist teams for highstandard daytoday deliveries.

You will oversee the entire project lifecycle from business case to implementation ensuring business readiness and benefits realization. You will serve as the senior point of contact between leadership teams steering committees and project teams.

How youll help us make health happen:

  • Deliver and manage IT projects to agreed plans budgets quality and timescales mitigating risks and resolving issues.
  • Coordinate activities dependencies and critical paths to align with project goals.
  • Create and manage project plans resources budgets success factors and milestones.
  • Ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities for team members.
  • Manage relationships with IT areas to optimize resource use within project scope and budget.
  • Develop business case documentation and ensure governance processes are followed.
  • Provide financial forecasts and project reports to stakeholders and finance teams.
  • Lead manage and motivate the project team including supervisory and matrix management.
  • Align with Bupas IT project governance and delivery frameworks.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase service throughout the project.
  • Engage and manage internal/external teams and third parties effectively.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • Experience of Digital Application Development
  • Excellent knowledge of AgilePM SAFe and PRINCE2 methodologies.
  • Programme and Project Management qualification
  • Strong commercial and vendor management experience.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills across diverse stakeholders.
  • Must be able to identify and manage project risks issues and dependencies.
  • Highly proficient in project resource and budget and cost management.
  • Ability to construct and deliver presentations and options papers.
  • Experience working with teams across multiple geographies.
