Job Description
The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for an anticipated fulltime (1.0 FTE) Business Education Teaching Position at the State College Area High School.
The ability to establish relationships with students and collaborate with colleagues is critical to success in this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and recognize that equity and inclusivity are foundational to ensuringevery student has opportunities to grow thrive and fulfill their potential through caring responsive education.
We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic educators who are passionate about student success and possess a strong knowledge of both the theory and practical applications of personal finance accounting investment and business law.
This role requires the teaching of multiple business courses and involvement with our Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) student club. Strong organizational and collaboration skills are essential to thrive in this position. We are looking for candidates who are committed to professional growth and bring a diverse range of experiences to the classroom.The ideal candidate must hold a current PA Business Computer and Information Technology 1603 instructional certification.
