Position Highlights
Job Type: FullTime Weekdays (some weekends/holidays may be required)
Employment Type: Direct hire or 13week travel contract
Location: Williamsville NY (Greater Buffalo Area)
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Salary Range: $61000$91000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Relocation Assistance: Available

Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language screenings and indepth evaluations for residents
Develop implement and monitor personalized therapy plans based on physician orders
Coordinate audiometric testing and make appropriate referrals to audiologists
Maintain accurate and timely documentation including evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and attend care planning meetings
Educate facility staff through inservice training and ensure safety standards
Uphold residents rights and deliver compassionate respectful care
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and program enhancements
Qualifications
Masters degree (M.A. or M.S.) in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited institution
Active New York State SLP license (required)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCSLP) from ASHA (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal abilities with a teamfirst mindset
Ability to meet NY State Department of Health and facility credentialing standards
