Role Detail

Based in our Sydney CBD office reporting to the Treasury Manager and serving as a key member of our Accounts Payable & Treasury team this role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

The position provides treasury and banking support to ensure efficient and accurate processing of banking transactions and timely reconciliation of accounts. This role has oversight of processing supplier invoices local and overseas EFT processing and performing other ad hoc duties to support the Accounts Payable team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of bank accounts.
  • Accurately processing bank transactions ensuring proper recording and posting to the correct General Ledger accounts.
  • Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations promptly addressing any discrepancies and working collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve items
  • Assisting with the administration of the Corporate Credit Card Programs including monitoring transactions conducting monthly reconciliations
  • Ensuring that supplier invoices are accurately processed and verified
  • Managing and execute timely payments for local and overseas transactions ensuring payments are made to suppliers within agreed terms.
  • Maintaining effective communication with suppliers and internal clients to address inquiries resolve issues and build positive relationships.
  • Other duties and project work as required to support the Accounts Payable team and enhance operational efficiency.

Bringing your strong background in finance administration excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail your point of difference will be your proactive attitude and enjoyment working in a high performing culture.

You will also bring:

  • 35 years of proven experience in a similar role managing high volumes of data
  • Accounting Business or Commerce qualifications desirable
  • Intermediate Excel and sound knowledge of Word and Outlook
  • Demonstrated experience in bank reconciliations (Blackline desirable)
  • Intermediate proficiency in practice and expense management systems (Elite 3E and Chrome River desirable)
  • Ability to analyse and problem solve
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key internal stakeholders
