The Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist 1 assists the physician in performing interventional cardiovascular and operating room procedures. Uses preestablished imaging protocols and departmental policy to perform safe operation of imaging equipment and all functions of the job. May provide complete pre and post education to patients and family. Minimal departmental responsibilities delegated by clinical supervisor. This position focuses on developing strong skills in scrubbing and monitoring in the cardiac cath lab electrophysiology and/or interventional radiology. Reports to Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Experience Entry level no experience needed
- Education High School or equivalent Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- Certification/Licensure License or Certification requiredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Louisiana / Mississippi License Basic Life Support BLS
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Compassionate Patient Care Effective Communication Attention to detail
