Job Description

First Line Manager Supply Chain Quality

Company:

The Boeing Company

Boeing Global Services is seeking a First Line Manager Supply Chain Quality position to support Global Warehousing and Supply Chain Services. The position is located in San Antonio TX.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations

  • Provide education and coaching on the Quality System. May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies

  • Manage resources and lead process improvements

  • Manage develop and motivates employees

  • Collaborate positively with peers across functions and amongst team members

  • Establish and report on KPI and other Quality Performance metrics to ensure alignment with business imperatives

  • Responsible for developing and managing business plans and procedures to enhance overall performance

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of experience performing in a leadership role

  • 3years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships / partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and crossfunctional teams

  • 3 years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or higher

  • 5years experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Airframe and Powerplant license; ability to obtain Repair Station Quality Supervisor authority

  • 5 years of experience in communicating collaborating and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent communication verbal and written communication skills.

  • The ability to manage develop and motivate employees.

  • Selfstarter who creates and implements jobrelated solutions and procedures.

  • Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)and Systematic Problem Solving.

  • Proficient in FAA regulations and Boeing RQSO Policies Processes and Procedures.

  • Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability Communication Continuous Improvement Customer Focus Managing Conflict Building Positive Relationship Ethical Leadership.

  • Demonstrated skills in Team Building Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation.

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
