Job Description
This position requires an active Secretclearance.
We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to oversee and deliver projects on time within scope and within budget. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and aligning project outcomes with business objectives.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Contract Project Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical Dental Vision 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Contract Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Plan execute and finalize projects according to deadlines and budget.
- Define project scope goals deliverables and success criteria.
- Develop detailed project plans manage resource allocation and monitor progress.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams clients and vendors.
- Identify track and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure contract compliance and manage changes through formal processes.
- Prepare reports briefings and documentation for stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings reviews and approvals at key project milestones.
- Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned
Contract Project Manager Experience Education Skills Abilities requested:
- Bachelors degree in Business Project Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of project management experience preferably in a contracting or government environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g. MS Project Agile Waterfall).
- Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience managing federal contracts or working in a government contracting environment.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS contract deliverables and performance tracking.
- Must pass preemployment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
