Job Description
The Senior Application Developer Full Stack role will be responsible for the broader process of developing and deploying enhancements and/or new applications used in local networked cloudbased or internetrelated computer programs. They will use their technical expertise in programming languages tools and delivery models in conjunction with their methodology expertise to collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of highquality products and solutions. This role requires a foundational understanding of programming languages tools and delivery models as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to nontechnical stakeholders. The incumbent will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders including project teams business analysts and endusers to ensure the development process is running smoothly. Ultimately the incumbent will play a vital role in ensuring the organizations software applications are effective efficient and provide a seamless experience for the endusers.
Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into software programming specifications
- Develop code integrate test and debug software applications using current programming languages
- Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance of software
- Collaborate and communicate closely with various stakeholders such as users developers and project managersto ensure timely delivery of products and solutions
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and programming languages to ensure the teams skills andexpertise are current
This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.
Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. TheCompany therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Companys staff employees and business relationships.
Qualifications
Education
Required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of a degree at least 7 years of experience in application development or application engineering
Skills and Experience
Required
- 46 years of experience in .Net software development specifically in application development engineering
- Experience in programming languages such as VB .Net C# JavaScript
- Familiarity with software development tools such as Octopus Deploy GitHUb or Jenkins
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
Preferred
- Experience working on PL/SQL creating Oracle packages.
- Familiarity with accounting applications
