Position: Software Tester
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in software testing roles.
Date: Friday 9th May 2025

Important Information:
- Candidates with strong English communication skills will be preferred especially those currently based in Western line of Mumbai.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Tester is required.
- We are looking for immediate joiners or those with a short notice period.
- Be prepared for a technical assessment.
- Please carry your updated resume and attend the interview in formal attire.

About the Role:
As an Application Tester you will be responsible for ensuring the quality functionality and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues conduct various tests and contribute to the overall improvement of our applications user experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to comprehend project requirements and objectives.
Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform functional usability regression and performance testing on software applications.
Identify document and prioritize software defects and inconsistencies.
Work alongside developers to troubleshoot and verify bug fixes.
Create clear and concise bug reports and status reports.
Participate in design and requirement review meetings to provide testing insights.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in application testing.
Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and strategies.
Key Result Areas:
Thorough testing of applications to ensure reliability and quality.
Effective communication of issues and resolutions with the development team.
Timely identification and reporting of software defects.
Improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Competencies (Skills essential to the role):
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
Proficiency in creating and executing test plans test cases and test scripts.
Familiarity with testing tools and platforms.
Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
Attention to detail and excellent problemsolving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
Knowledge of different testing types such as functional regression and usability testing.
Familiarity with Agile and iterative development concepts.
Continuous learning mindset to keep up with the evolving landscape of application testing.

Requirements
Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB CSTE) would be advantageous.
Experience with test management tools and version control systems is a plus.
Basic understanding of programming concepts and databases is beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
