Without a strong distribution network supported by comprehensive technical services and commercial support many of these products would never reach the end consumer. In fact the hardware and software you use at home or in the office likely passed through one of our warehouses before hitting the market.
Purpose of the role:
Achieve both individual and team profitability goals by delivering exceptional service to TD SYNNEX customers while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy efficiency and quality in service to both customers and vendors.
Build Excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge under supervision
Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers and can have a general conversation around a solution/product area
Achieve monthly/quarterly Revenue and Margin targets
Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
Engages in active inside selling by using a number of different sources to gain information on customers and utilises this to maximise call potential and outcomes
Manages customer backorder along specialist knowledge and engages in intelligent project fishing
In AS either manages project endtoend or hands over to pre sales for technical requirements
Provide sell and negotiate product information pricing special offers and promotions
Ensure TD SYNNEX maintains service levels agreements with customers
Attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as customer engagement
Sell the benefits of using TD SYNNEX and the Company value proposition
Develops partner relationship (incl. account planning crossselling etc.)
Identifies project opportunities and engages with BDMs if specific product/ vendor knowledge is required
Drives sales of specific products/ vendors if specific knowledge is required
Provides accurate and timely quotations (SMB Managed (AS) SP/ EVar/ SI segment Specialists (IBM) entire AS BUs)
Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEXs CRM system which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunities
Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting
Ensure CRM system is well maintained and provides correct customer information
12 years of experience in sales or customer service
Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
Clear and professional phone communication
Good time management and planning abilities
Targetdriven and familiar with sales processes
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
Experience with quoting order entry or CRM systems is a plus
Basic knowledge of IT products or the industry is desirable but not essential
