Description
Responsibilities:
Master Data Management and Analysis:
- Structure and analyze Customer and Product Master Data to extract meaningful insights.
- Maintain and update reference tables within the production system.
Reporting and Dashboards:
- Prepare and distribute daily weekly and monthly reports.
- Update and maintain current dashboards with relevant data.
- Create ad hoc dashboards based on stakeholder requests.
- Present periodic reports to Management incorporating valueadded analysis.
Data Acquisition and Maintenance:
- Source data for new reporting requirements including collaboration with external service providers.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of current data sources.
Team Support and Special Projects:
- Assist the team with data mining and analysis projects.
- Prepare budget files.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis as required.
Marketing Support:
- Provide data and analytical support to Marketing initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Data Analyst Certification OR Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) / Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree (or currently studying towards one).
- Power BI Specialist OR highly experienced in Power BI.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analyst (or similar) commercial finance or reporting role.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAGE SAP SYSPRO).
- Experience with customer web portals (e.g. Shoprite PNP).
Analytical and Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical conceptual and problemsolving abilities.
- Proven ability to analyze user requirements and develop reports according to specifications.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the capacity to work independently.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience within the FastMoving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is advantageous.
