Summer Internship (May September)
Our software engineers connect thousands of patients to care each day. And that is just the beginning. The intern program will provide you the opportunity to gain relevant business and engineering experience while working in a highly collaborative environment.
You will work alongside industry experts in the fight against cancer. Ideal candidates should be selfmotivated thrive in a fastpaced environment and are always searching for a better way. If you are creative smart and work best in teams wed like to talk to you.
Responsibilities
As an OIS Modernization intern you will help migrate existing software and tooling to modern solutions. Examples include resolving cybersecurity flaws creating processes and tooling for migrating to a new requirements management system creation of automated tests to enhance CI/CD pipelines or analyzing and upgrading third party packages and managing Software of Unknown Provenance (SOUP) etc.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with the direction and support of engineering manager/supervisor. The requirements listed below are representative of the prerequisites knowledge skill and/or ability .
Must be an enrolled college student completing a bachelors or graduate program in a technology related field such as computer science computer engineering or information systems.
Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above.
Letter detailing what the student hopes to gain from the internship.
Resourcefulness in finding information and answers highly motivated.
Critical thinking and analytical skills.
Knowledge of a scripting language such as Python.
Ability to develop queries utilizing a query language such as TSQL.
Have completed education in or experience with C# Java or C.
Decrease the amount of time and effort to perform a MOSAIQ software upgrade.
Improve the quality of the MOSAIQ software upgrade process.
Ability to prioritize/execute to achieve desired project goals and prudence and sense of urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Capacity to learn and apply new concepts quickly in a dynamic environment.
Dedication to helping others.
