Job Description:
Job Duties:The main responsibility of this position will be to deliver technical assistance to support projects funded under federally funding housing programs. Collaboration and maintaining relationships with other state and federal agencies community organizations housing developers and private sector stakeholders to develop affordable housing is crucial to success. This position will provide grant management from application to closeout including oversight monitoring data management and reporting for compliance. The ability to understand and interpret state and federal regulations pertaining to federally funded housing programs is critical to success in this position. The ideal candidate will have experience inreal estate development a strong understanding of housing policies and excellent leadership skills. Work Environment: Office setting with regular site visits. Travel will be required for meetings trainings or project inspections. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job classification.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in any discipline related to the work assigned and two years of related experience. Experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with strategy and project management; housing development community development housing support services or programs emergency management or social services and case management. Experience with federal program administration including strategy planning program design program management data analysis monitoring and compliance and/or financial and grants management.
Other: This position requires frequent travel throughout the state. Occasional overnight trips can be expected as well as out of state travel for trainings and conferences. As such the incumbent must be able to present a valid drivers license or another form of reliable transportation. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
