Job Description
At Bridges Preparatory School the Math Interventionist will provide explicit mathematics instruction in a onetoone or small group setting to improve specific mathematics skills of a particular child or small group of children. This position will work with the intervention team to create intervention plans of learning aligned with the regular classroom mathematics objectives. Collaborating closely with instructional teams and administrators youll work to enhance student learning outcomes ensuring a positive and nurturing experience. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a love for math and creating a supportive community that encourages every student to thrive academically and personally.
To excel candidates should possess a Bachelors degree in area of math education along with a current South Carolina teaching certification or the willingness to obtain one. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential as you will work closely with instructional teams and administrators to enhance student learning to improve outcomes for atrisk students. Additionally proficiency in educational technology and software will be crucial for delivering effective lessons and tracking student progress allowing you to create an interactive and impactful learning experience.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Bachelors degree in the area of education
- Current Certification in South Carolina or ability to obtain certification
- Three years experience or prior experience in an intervention role preferred

This position is for theschool year follows the approved school calendar and is a 190 day teacher schedule.
