Job Summary:
The Guest Service Representative at Residence Inn Dallas Grand Prairie is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all hotel guests assisting with checkin/checkout procedures and offering information and assistance to guests during their stay. This is a parttime hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry located in Grand Prairie Texas. This position reports to the Front Desk Supervisor and does not have any direct reports.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
Greet and checkin guests in a friendly and professional manner following all hotel procedures and policies.
Assist guests with their inquiries concerns and needs throughout their stay providing accurate information and timely solutions.
Process reservations changes and cancellations according to hotel policies and procedures.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a working knowledge of the hotels facilities services and local area attractions.
Ensure the lobby and front desk area is clean organized and inviting at all times.
Follow safety and security procedures to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and employees.
Attend all required training and meetings to stay updated on hotel policies procedures and promotions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor.
Requirements:
Must be available to work weekend morning and afternoon/evening shifts.
Prior customer service experience in a hotel hospitality or restaurant setting preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of reservation systems.
Must be available to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
