Grade 2 Clinical Psychologist
DEPARTMENT:
Alfred Healths Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Rehabilitation Ward provides rehabilitation services for people with moderate to severe acquired brain injuries including traumatic brain injuries stroke hypoxic brain injuries and other causes of nonprogressive brain injury. The ward is part of a specialist Statewide ABI Rehabilitation service that also includes a community rehabilitation team and a 4bed Transitional Living Service (TLS).
This position is based within the inpatient ward and may also provide services to TLS. The position is also part of the Psychology Department which provides great access to supervision professional developmentand professional support.
Psychology registrars will be supported through the registrar program to gain clinical endorsement and will be enrolled in Alfred Healths Psychology Registrar Learning and Development Program. This includes regular professional development workshops and the chance to network with other psychology registrars working across the hospital network
The ABI psychology team includes twelve Clinical Psychologists and Neuropsychologists. There is plenty of opportunity for supervision mentoring and professional development.
