Job Description
Assist the RE in monitoring construction activities in accordance with the specifications
Assist the RE in monitoring traffic accommodation and the design of deviations for phased construction
Assist the RE in monitoring the Contractors progress on the construction of major highway structures
Assist the RE in monitoring OHS and environmental compliance
Assist the RE in monitoring the site laboratory (concrete section)
Minute taking at site and technical meetings
Skills & Experience:
Competent with Civil Designer and/or Civil 3D
More than 5 years experience on the analysis of concrete mix designs
Construction quality control related to the construction of major highway structures
Minimum 7 years experience on major SANRAL projects with more than 5 years involved in supervising and monitoring the construction of major highway structures
Qualification:
BSc/BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
