MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice professional engineering or professional architecture plus seven years of experience as a licensed engineer or architect.
NOTE:
Applications will be accepted from persons licensed to practice professional engineering or professional architecturein states other than Louisiana. If one of those applicants is selected for the position he/she will be required to obtain a Louisiana license prior to appointment. The hiring agency will verify that all licensing requirements are met.
FUNCTION OF WORK:
To administer the architectural engineering and environmental programs for the states capital outlay programs.
LEVEL OF WORK:
Manager.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Administrative direction from the FPC Assistant Director.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Direct over several FPC Project Managers or equivalent level staff.
LOCATION OF WORK:
Division of Administration Office of Facility Planning and Control.
JOB DISTINCTIONS:
Differs from FPC Project Manager by the presence of direct supervisory responsibility over subordinate project managers.
Differs from FPC Assistant Director by the absence of responsibility for serving as the deputy and primary assistant to the Director.
