SALARY: $20.00 per hour
24 28 Hours Per Week
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Involved in sample preparation procedures as well as routine analysis while maintaining sample integrity
- Using different laboratory equipment to gather physical and chemical data and reporting those results
- Use of computer based programs such as MS Excel to collect data and make decisions
- Use of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete work tasks
- Follow all plant and safety policies
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Other routine tasks as necessary
- Work in other departments as time and activities allow
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Education requirements High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates
- Ability to continuously stand bend or twist and lift items up to 50 pounds required
- Experience inagriculture chemistry biochemistry microbiology or related field helpful
- Basic knowledge of wet chemistry laboratory procedures techniques andequipment
- Valid drivers license
- Team player with good communication skills
