Job Description:

Broadcom is looking for a senior level STA this highly visible role you will be working on various ASIC productsfor the next generation of optical and electrical data center connectivity products.

Qualifications include:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 8 years of experience in ASIC Design Verification or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 6 years of experience in ASIC Design Verification

• Experience with highcomplexity silicon in advanced technology nodes.

• Familiarity with timing constraint development for hierarchical designs.

• Knowledge of clock tree planning and implementation for SoCs.

• Experience with timing ECO creation and final timing signoff.

• Proficiency in usingSTAtools (e.g. PrimeTime Tempus) and scripting languages (e.g. Tcl Perl).

• Proficiency in using synthesis tools (Genus)

• Strong understanding of ASIC design flows including RTL and placeandroute.

• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities..

Highly Desired Qualifications:

• Working with Genus tools (Cadence) for design synthesis includingDFT flow

• Review timing and constraints reports.

• Running conformal checks.

• Develop and validate timing constraints for intricate SoC designs.

• Experience with Synopsys TCM tool.

• Perform static timing analysis (STA) using industrystandard tools (e.g. PrimeTime Tempus).

• Define and implement timing signoff methodologies including process corners derates and uncertainties.

• Conduct preroute timing checks and quality of results (QoR) analysis.

• Automate timing analysis processes using scripting languages such as Tcl or Perl.

• Provide guidance on clock tree synthesis and optimization for energyefficient designs.

• Ensure compliance with timing signoff checklists and criteria.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $119000 $190000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
