The Field Team Leader will provide leadership by safely managing people projects and processes. This includes planning execution and closing activities necessary to successfully build maintain and decommission telecommunication networks for major clients such as Optus Uecomm NBN Telstra TPG Telco Authorities and Power Utility.
This role requires availability for rostered oncall duties including working outside normal hours on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership to safely manage people projects and processes ensuring compliance with all state and federal safety regulations and Service Streams policies.
Act as the point of contact between management and the field workforce coordinating operations while minimising disruptions to construction activities.
Lead and mentor field staff to achieve project goals ensuring all KPIs contract performance requirements and safety standards are met.
Monitor site progress resolve delays or disputes and ensuring productivity aligns with project budgets.
Manage preconstruction activities including site inspections constructability reviews and resource allocation to prevent delays.
Maintain accurate data in the work order management system track recoverable costs and oversee field operations to ensure compliance with project timelines and specifications.
Communicate with subcontractors suppliers and third parties (e.g. landowners councils regulatory authorities) as required.
Assist with fleet maintenance material management stakeholder engagement and training verification for all project personnel.
Promote a strong team culture fostering staff development retention and open communication.
About you:
At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications and infrastructure services
Valid drivers licence and Construction OH&S induction card
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams and manage onsite operations
Expertise in civil and telecommunications work including problemsolving and interpreting construction plans
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
Excellent communication and time management abilities
Commitment to maintaining safety quality and compliance with regulations
Dedicated to staff development coaching and stakeholder engagement
Proactive detailoriented and resultsdriven
