DescriptionYoull work on key projects maintain databases review documents and support a collaborative legal team. This is a 12month fulltime opportunity offering hybrid flexibility professional mentorship and valuable exposure to legal and compliance functions in a missiondriven environment.
Responsibilities- Help with special projects in support of HR Legal compliance processes
- Maintenance of legal databases and electronic and paper files
- Prompt quality response to customer requests and research inquiries
- Reviewing legal documents for compliance preparing reports summarizing data
- Provides daytoday support on a wide variety of matters for the Director HR Legal Services the Compliance Manager and the Compliance Specialist
Qualifications- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university program or a recent graduate (within previous 12 months)
- Ability to handle sensitive confidential material required
- Demonstrated computer skills with significant experience in spreadsheet database presentation word processing and email software products
- Excellent writing verbal organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Work well in a team environment and promote the standards and teachings of the Church in the work setting;
- Ability to analyze and document complex legal situations and effectively explain them to others;
- Demonstrated initiative to complete projects and stay on task;
- Demonstrated attention to detail and experience in research;
- Experience in a legal setting helpful but not required (training will be provided)
- Must be able to quickly learn complex processes
- Former work with Form I9s highly preferred
