Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle materials and move items to appropriate areas within the warehouse
Manage documentation as required by the current work task
Utilize the EBS system for receiving processes
Operate and manage inventory using the Kardex System
Maintain strong knowledge of equipment locations and proper warehouse organization
Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts
Demonstrate indepth understanding of departmental work processes
Perform other workrelated tasks as assigned by supervisors
Support and guide juniorlevel employees to help meet departmental goals
Maintain a strong safety awareness; promptly report any safety hazards to the HSE representative
Uphold responsibility and authority to promote a safe working environment in accordance with HSE procedures
Actively participate in fostering a culture of safety and quality within NOV
Adhere to all NOV Company policies including Quality Health Safety and Environmental procedures
Ensure all actions align with the companys overall objectives and compliance standards
Other duties as assigned by management
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the duration of the work shift. This includes gloves safety clothing safety glasses or goggles respirators/face masks ear plugs/muffs and safety shoes
Work may be performed in environments where exposure to harmful physical and chemical agents is possible (e.g. fumes dust heat ionizing and nonionizing chemicals)
Participation in medical surveillance programs may be required in accordance with HSE policies
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately
Must be proficient in English (both written and spoken) for effective job communication and comprehension
Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to a changing work schedule as needed
Capability to operate machinery for extended periods typically 8 to 12 hours per day
Physical ability to lift pull or push up to 50 pounds
Routine bending and physical movement is required as part of daily tasks
