Job Description
Riverhawk Company is a custom engineering design company. While we build a large number of custom hardware and tooling for power generation systems and other applications for companies such as GE Siemens and Johnson Controls we also have a wide range of other product designs. As a leader in engineeringdriven manufacturing Riverhawk is looking to add a Materials Processor to their team. This full time position is based out of the New Hartford NY office.
What Youll Do:
- Follow process specifications as required to complete work assignments
- Check for weight of parts for consistency with customer and part specifications
- Responsible for cutting raw material utilizing an automated band saw
- Clean and maintain band saw
- Responsible for operation of woodshop power tools
- Clean and maintain power tools
- Identify parts as required utilizing the marking machine
- Inspect parts for burrs and remove
- Design and construct shipping containers per customer specifications.
- Pack parts and prepare paperwork for shipment
- Pick up/deliver parts as required
- Load and unload trucks as required
- Assemble products to Riverhawk drawings
- Enter ERP transactions and maintain accurate inventory counts as required
What We Need:
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to lift to OSHA standard
- Must be able to operate a fork truck safely and efficiently upon completion of internal training
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Must be able to work with varied disciplines across the company
- A general understanding of ISO 9001 is a plus
