A Brief OverviewResponsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned area. Responsible for proper removal of trash recycling and regulated medical waste.
What you will do
- Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include but not be limited to: patient rooms offices nurses stations lounges hallways bathrooms kitchen areas elevators stairwells and lobby areas.
- Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include but not be limited to: cleaning walls ceilings vents lights baseboards windows/glass and replacing light bulbs.
- Maintains clean/neat floor surfaces as assigned. This may entail but not limited to: dusting buffing scrubbing strip/sealing waxing extracting and vacuuming.
- Dispose of all trash in an appropriate manner including the pickup boxing shredding and maintaining general cleanliness of trash receptacles.
- Participates in relocation of office and other general hospital furniture/equipment as necessary.
Essential QualificationsThe individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others hear understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education License/Certification or Work Experience:
- High School or GED Equivalent :or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
