Job Description

Third Grade Teacher

Reports to School Principal

Fulltime (1.0 FTE; Average 40 Hours/Week based on School Year Contract/Calendar)

A thirdgrade teachers role is to integrate Biblical truth in all areas of curriculum matter and to help students internalize the subject matter skills and attitudes that will prepare them for middle school and beyond. They should be passionate about motivating students to accept Gods gift of salvation and to grow in their faith. Explaining complex concepts simply and utilizing curriculum and enrichment materials to encourage students to be curious and have respect for the world and resources that God created is essential.

Required Education:

  • Have obtained a Bachelors degree
  • Preference is given to candidates with statelevel teacher certification
