Senior Franchise Counsel
This position reporting to the Assistant General Counsel is responsible for domestic and global franchise regulatory compliance and advising the business on franchise transactional matters and relationship issues.

Minimum requirements:
Education: J.D. degree from an ABAaccredited law school.
Experience:
10 years of practice in a law firm corporate legal or compliance department with primary focus in global and domestic franchising. Admission to the Colorado bar or active admission to another states bar and willingness to become admitted in Colorado (SingleClient Counsel Certification under C.R.C.P. 204.1 may be considered only for attorneys from nonreciprocal jurisdictions who are ineligible for admission on motion).

Strong relationship building skills including: (1) being a business partner to assist various teams in achieving their goals while managing risk and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations; and (2) collaborating and coordinating with employees from different departments and at all levels of the company as well as outside counsel and other parties. Ability to interact with and advise company leadership with confidence and to communicate complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner to executives and other employees. Ability to issue spot across all legal areas impacting the company. Contributes to positive Legal Department environment and reputation. Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills. Strong organizational skills. Team player attitude.
Salary Range:
$190000 $225000
Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level experience industry specific knowledge education/certifications or geographic location. This position is eligible for an annual LongTerm Incentive (LTI) grant in Restricted Stock Units. All equity grants are made at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
