Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital Radiology Permanent Full time
Competitive Salary depending on experience (plus enhancements for on call)
37.5 hours per week On call cover required

As a Radiographer at our hospitalyoull bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and youre caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) a postgraduate qualification and excellent teamwork skills.
As a Radiographer you will:
Help deliver our highquality diagnostic imaging service
Experience a varied caseload in the department on the ward and in theatre
Work with leading practitioners and new practices equipment and facilities
Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
Supervise and develop junior colleagues
Ensure that what you do is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

Shrewsbury hospital ranked as Good in the last CQC inspection is purpose built and well equipped with 30 ensuite bedrooms 3 operating theatres an endoscopy suite an Ambulatory Care Unit and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes Xray Ultrasound MRI and CT facilities. We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matronled nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics ophthalmology cosmetic surgery and womens health but also undertake general surgery urology and interventions for chronic pain management.
