Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking experienced Radiographers to join our close-knit friendly and hardworking Cath Lab team on a full-time basis.

We work closely with highly skilled cardiologists vascular surgeons and radiologists to provide the best care for our patients. We have a great group of professional and friendly nurses and radiographers that works harmoniously as a team to deliver quality patient care.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art 340-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.

With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

As a Radiographer in the Cath Lab your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab team on coronary angiograms pacemakers and vascular procedures
  • Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
  • Patient registration on all equipment and ensuring data back-up
  • Procedural documentation
  • Haemodynamic monitoring for patient (training will be provided)
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice

Essential Criteria:

  • Current AHPRA Registration and EPA Radiation License
  • Radiation Safety
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to participate in a fluctuating roster as required
  • ECG knowledge and Cath Lab experience
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills proactive motivated and customer focused
