ENT and Allergy Associates New York & New Jerseys premier ENT and Allergy medical practice is seeking a selfmotivated peoplefriendly full time Surgical Coordinator for our Yorktown office.
The Surgical Coordinator is responsible for scheduling all surgeries for the physicians in the office. This position reports directly to the Practice Site Administrator.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling all hospital and some inoffice surgeries
Communicating with hospitals to perform all necessary preoperative requirements
Contacting patients to explain responsibilities and all necessary preoperative and postoperative requirements
Administering surgical prep packets to patients which contains all required paperwork to be completed prior to surgery
Precertifying all surgical procedures with the appropriate insurance company verifying eligibility deductibles and co pays.
Requirements:
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
NextGen a plus.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must have experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical insurance
Must have excellent communication and follow up skills

Monday Friday: 8:305:00PM
