Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as aOutpatient Rehab Services Tech/Receptionist. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for being in a support role for Physical and Occupational Therapy and providing great customer service for our patients we serve.

Details:
Full Time and benefits eligible (1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week)
Monday Friday 8 hour shifts 9:15am5:45pm

Duties: Outpatient Rehab Services Tech/Receptionist
Provide broad spectrum of support and therapeutic services to the Occupational Physical and Speech Therapy professionals to facilitate optimal rehabilitation for the patient. Perform complex scheduling registration insurance verification and time of checkin collection duties for patients seeking services at the organizations clinics.
Required Qualifications: Outpatient Rehab Services Tech/Receptionist
Minimum of one year customer service experience required
High school education or equivalent required.
Strong team orientation required.
Ability to identify and solve problems required.
Customer relations skills both verbal and written required.
Ability to form and maintain working relationships within the organization to foster a team environment required.
Knowledge of computer keyboard printers various software programs approved online resources multiline telephone with and without headset scanners copy machine fax cyracom telephones and office equipment required.
Strong communication and organizational skills with aptitude for detailoriented work required.
Efficient data entry skills required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon completion of unit orientation required.
Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient Rehab Services Tech/Receptionist
Previous rehabilitation experience preferred and previous experience in scheduling and insurance background.
Previous experience with exercise equipment typically found in rehab setting including but not limited to treadmills exercise bikes whirlpool wheelchairs walkers etc. preferred.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
