The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Maritime and Intelligence Systems (M&IS) West division is seeking an innovative Estimating and Pricing Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join our estimating team in Huntington Beach California. This position offers relocation assistance.
In this exciting and highly visible role you will:

Briefing recommendations up through all levels of the company

Position Responsibilities:
Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design build and aftermarket support stages of the program
Develops prepares and validates estimates and prices
Evaluates requests for proposal substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals
Develops estimating and pricing methods
Evaluates and develops cases
Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk financial etc.)
Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- 3 years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations Cost Management Estimating Financial Planning Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- 3 years of experience with government company and local policies procedures and regulations (e.g. Estimating system manual Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Procurement integrity Export Control relating to development of cost proposals
- 3 years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas VLookups pivot tables charts filters and linking worksheets
- 3 years of experience building proposals utilizing pricing systems estimating and pricing tools and processes
- 3 years of experience in performing cost estimating/pricing function
- 3 years of experience supporting audit factfinding and negotiations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active Secret Security Clearance within the past 24 months
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance and/or Special Program Access
- 3 years of experience as a proven leader with strong written verbal communications and presentation skills
- Experience working with cross functional teams
