Our team is seeking an accomplished iOS Engineer to join our team in supporting the supporting multiple software products and brands across the organization. You will have a direct impact on highly visible web applications that touch millions of users. You continuously learn emerging technologies and architecture advancements and apply the learnings to improve software products.
This position is located in Arlington VA and offers a schedule of 4 days onsite 1 day remote.
Responsibilities
Develop test and maintain our iOS application using Swift SwiftUI and UIKit
Work with the team to create user interface layouts for customers and interfaces to backend web services
Design and develop components and libraries that are highly reusable and maintainable
Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of the app by writing clean efficient and maintainable code
Understand CoStars product architecture and frameworks and come to the table with your ideas
Collaborate with different teams along with other iOS developers to exchange new ideas and improvements
Collaborate with product managers business analysts and designers to implement new features and improve existing ones
Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStars technology platform and development practices
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required from an accredited not for profit university or college
3 years of professional experience in iOS development
Experience with SwiftUI UIKit and popular iOS frameworks
Experience with architectural patterns like MVC and MVVM.
Strong Object Oriented Programming fundamentals
Solid understanding of Version Control principles preferably using Git and Pull Requests
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Deeper understanding of SwiftUI
Published apps on the App Store
Good to Have:
Experience/knowledge of RESTful services and other serverside principles
Familiarity/knowledge of Android development
Familiarity with and backend communication
